Morgan’s Jungle Lodge, a true nature lover’s paradise
Morgan’s Jungle Lodge has four guest bedrooms, a great room, reading room, kitchen, laundry, and bath area. Our great room is where guests congregate for meals, conversation, games and lounging. Immediately off the great room is the lanai patio with a small in-ground pool. The patio is a great place to watch the monkeys, exotic birds and other wildlife that frequent the property.There is a small reading room with many books (including wildlife guides) that guests have brought, read, and left for others to enjoy. We have a fully equipped kitchen, refrigeration, and propane stoves for our cooking needs.
On the way to the beach there are several cabinas, which are secure platform tents. Our smaller cabinas have two twin beds, a nightstand and shelves for clothing. Our larger family/group cabinas have are furnished with two sets of bunk beds, nightstands and shelves for clothing. The cabinas, as well as the bedrooms in the lodge, share hot and cold running showers and toilets located in the lodge.
Morgan’s Jungle Lodge, while very comfortable, reflects the simplistic, rustic nature of the area. Once on the Osa, you will realize that many of the creature comforts that you have left behind are not needed. Our guests soon grow to appreciate the simplicity of our tropical rain forest hideaway, and find being “unplugged” for awhile makes for a truly relaxing experience. We can comfortably accommodate 8-20 guests, double occupancy.
