Canoe Trips and Rates for Morgan’s Little Miami River
Pricing Reminders:
Morgan’s charges PER canoe. A canoe will accommodate up to 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 small children (weight limit not to exceed 550 lbs.). There are only 2 seats in all canoes.
The youngest age we allow in our canoes is now 4 years.
Due to current State of Ohio guidelines, we do not allow pets on any of our trips.
We also REQUIRE reservations to monitor our daily capacity on the river. Online reservations can be made at any point in time under the reservations tab.
KAYAKING: Single kayaks are $35 + tax. Double Kayaks are $65 + tax.
FALL CANOEING: It’s such a pretty time of the year to get on the river. Please note that our trip schedules vary during this time of the year and it’s best to call us at 513-932-7658 or 513-932-8128 to see what trips will be running that day.
PRIVATE SHUTTLE SERVICE: We will be offering a limited number of private boat shuttles this year. The length of the trips vary depending on our daily schedule. The cost is $25 per single kayak and $40 per canoe or double kayak transport. Due to limited parking at our location, we do not allow vehicles with trailers on the premises.

For company outings, we guarantee the most competitive price on the river and will customize a trip to fit. Please talk to a Morgan’s reservation specialists personally, to advise you on your outing and to workout all the details to make your trip a successful one.
The pricing below is our reservation rate, add $10 per canoe for our regular walk-in, non reservation rate. (Due to COVID we are requiring reservations and limiting our trip options. We are currently reservation only.) Old Towns are wider, do not have a keel on the bottom like the aluminum canoes, have contoured seats, do not heat up as much in the sun, and ride smoother over rocks and low spots.

RENTAL RATES FOR CANOES
Ft. Ancient to Riverside Campground and Cabins – 3 mile river trip
This short but sweet float trip will take you through the most beautiful part or the Fort Ancient gorge. Have an ice cream or sandwich and cold drink when you arrive at our Riverside Campground & Cabins. Great for those who don’t have a lot of time, or just simply want a sample of Ohio’s First National Scenic River. (Average time 1-2 hours)

Ft. Ancient to Morrow – 6 mile lower river trip
Approximately 6 miles- This is one of our most popular trips. Our Riverside Campground & Cabins serves as a perfect picnic stop at your half way point, have an ice cream treat or lunch. Clean restrooms are available here, and be sure to check out our new cabins for a future extended stay with us. Many islands, creeks, and fossil shoals add to the fun… The Morgan’s recommend this trip for all church groups, youth groups, and corporate outings because it’s not too long and not too short. (Average time 2-3 hours)

Our newest trip takes paddlers through a less traveled section of the river, passing near the town of Morrow and one of the largest Great Blue Heron rookeries in Ohio. (Average time 3-4 hours)

Deer Creek to Ft. Ancient – 12 mile upper river trip (currently unavailable)
This is a great 3 hour to all day trip. Pack a picnic basket and enjoy the Caesar’s Creek Gorge area as the river winds its way back to our Fort Ancient lodge. This is our most popular trip with experienced canoeists. (Average time 3-5 hours)
