SPRING CANOEING: It’s such a pretty time of the year to get on the river. All of our availability is updated live online under the reservation tab. Please note that our trip schedules vary during this time of the year and it’s best to call us at 513-932-7658 or 513-932-8128 to see what trips will be running that day. We plan on opening the beginning of May every year weather and water conditions permitting.
Morgan’s Canoe Livery at Ft. Ancient was the first livery on the Little Miami River, built by Bob and June Morgan in 1969. It remains to this day the only Canoe, Kayak, and Rafting Outfitter located in the pristine Ft. Ancient Gorge of the Little Miami River. It was home to the ancient Hopewell Indian tribe also known as “The Mound Builders”.
The Morgan Family chose this secluded section of river for its natural beauty and protected isolation, (there are no towns within six miles), as well as being the best canoeing section on the Little Miami.
Our beautiful Riverside Campground and Cabins are located just 3 miles downriver from Ft. Ancient. Make your weekend an overnight stay and camp along the river bordered by huge, ancient sycamore trees. We are the only camping and cabins on the Little Miami Scenic Bike Trail. Ask about our 2
Cancellation Policy:
All sales are final. Cancellations due to weather and water will be sent via email. In the case of cancellation due to weather and unsafe river conditions, either on our end or your end, a paddlesports credit will be issued in the form of a gift card so you can reschedule. Any reservation Morgan’s Canoe has to cancel due to weather and water concerns will be given a paddlesports credit. The voucher is good for any time in the future and will not expire.
In the case of a non-weather related cancellation, you must CALL us a 513-932-7658 or 513-932-8128 a minimum of 24 hours in advance of your trip in order to be eligible for the gift card credit. No shows will be charged the full amount.
